Sunday services
We meet every Sunday morning at 11am, except for those very rare occasions - usually around Christmas - when we have a joint service with St Luke's. Almost always the meeting is in the church hall, and the setting is informal and friendly.
We celebrate Holy Communion on average twice a month (see Rotas for the precise dates), and the other services come under the heading of Morning Worship. They are normally led by a member of the congregation, and there is a separate preacher, also usually from the congregation. We have a worship group and use either Mission Praise or Worship Today, although other hymns and songs, including those from a Celtic tradition and from Taize, are sometimes used.
The service lasts about an hour to 75 minutes, and is followed by refreshments. There is a strong atmosphere of love and friendship within the congregation.
